Kaleb's first camping trip on the Rim

We went camping over the 4th of July weekend. It was Kaleb's first time sleeping in a tent. He did really well. However both of the air mattresses lost air in the middle of the night so we didn't sleep well. The coyotes were out one of the nights really close to the campsite, Kaleb kept asking "Mommy, did you hear that?" "Mommy, what are those animals called again?"
Kaleb was also infatuated with the fire, throwing anything and everything possible in it.
While riding one of the days, Justin got pulled over by the Forest Ranger. Long story short Justin got a citation for letting Kaleb ride double on his quad. Kaleb was safe and had a helmet and goggles on. We were not being reckless or going fast but this stupid ranger still gave us a ticket.. There is a lot more the story so we are fighting it. Anyways, we had a great trip and hope to plan another one soon! Here are a few pictures
